For decades shoppers have turned to the Toyota 4Runner when searching for a rugged and capable midsize SUV. The 2020 model year brings a slew of updates for the 4Runner that further solidifies its appeal. Today we'll explore some of the new features and equipment. Starting inside the cabin, there's a new 8.0-in. infotainment screen that has compatibility with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa. Power comes from a 4.0-Liter V6 DOHC 24-valve engine that features dual independent variable valve timing with intelligence (VVT-i) and produces 270 hp and 278 lb.-ft. of torque. This brawny engines provides smooth and linear power delivery that's suited on-road and off-road driving conditions. On the safety front, Toyota has you covered with standard Toyota Safety Sense-P, which is a suite of advanced safety features like Pre-Collision System (PCS) with vehicle and pedestrian detection, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC), Lane Departure Alert (LDA), and Automatic High Beams (AHB).
