Toyota also replaced the old 6-speed automatic transmission with Direct Shift 8-Speed Transmission, which means smoother transitions as you drive. For the frugal driver concerned with cost effectiveness, you’ll be happy to know the new 2018 Toyota Camry L boasts 29 mpg for city driving, 41 mpg for highway driving and 34 mpg for combined driving.
