Take a scenic drive to the Wallace Falls State Park which features a picturesque 265-foot waterfall. The North Cascades Highway features the hydroelectric dams of Newhalem, historic structures near Diablo Lake and nighttime light shows on Ladder Creek Falls. See a Drive-In Movie at the Rodeo Drive-In Theatre in Bremerton
The popular Rodeo drive-in theater opened in 1949 and shows new movies on three screens, but is only open during the summer. Located off Highway 3 near the Bremerton Airport, the theatre features a full concessions menu including traditional fare and drinks. Gates open at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. Just a 10-mile drive from Seattle, the ferry boat trip to Bainbridge Island is certainly something you’ll want to experience. The boat ride provides 35 minutes of serene scenery including the sun glistening off the water, a unique view of the island and plenty of seagulls.
