This popular scenic drive along Lake Washington will take you to the Arboretum, which features 230 acres of gardens, wetlands and natural areas. I-90 to 18 East to Snoqualmie Falls

This scenic drive includes great views of huge rock formations as well as looming trees. The Snoqualmie Falls Park includes an observation deck for incredible views of the 270-foot waterfall as well as free parking and a gift shop.

WA 520 to I-405 to U.S. 2 to Wallace Falls and North Cascades

Take a scenic drive to the Wallace Falls State Park which features a picturesque 265-foot waterfall. Get your exercise by taking one of the many well-marked trails which provide fantastic views of the lower, middle and upper waterfall. You can also drive up Highway 2 to view the North Cascades. The North Cascades Highway features the hydroelectric dams of Newhalem, historic structures near Diablo Lake and nighttime light shows on Ladder Creek Falls. See a Drive-In Movie at the Rodeo Drive-In Theatre in Bremerton

The popular Rodeo drive-in theater opened in 1949 and shows new movies on three screens, but is only open during the summer. Located off Highway 3 near the Bremerton Airport, the theatre features a full concessions menu including traditional fare and drinks. Gates open at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. Visit their website or call their 24-hour movie line to see what’s playing.

Take the Ferry to Bainbridge Island for Lunch

Just a 10-mile drive from Seattle, the ferry boat trip to Bainbridge Island is certainly something you’ll want to experience. The boat ride provides 35 minutes of serene scenery including the sun glistening off the water, a unique view of the island and plenty of seagulls. The island is home to seven independent wineries and the Island Vintners Tasting Room lets you try wine from three wineries in one stop.
