The Toyota lineup will soon gain a new member with the release of the 2022 Toyota bZ4X, an eye-catching crossover with battery-electric power. Built on a new platform and about the same size as the RAV4, it will be the first Toyota carrying the bZ moniker, which stand for Beyond Zero and reflects the brand's commitment to environmental stewardship.

The exterior features modern and rugged styling with a long wheelbase and short overhangs. A sloping roofline and deeply sculpted body panels lend added sophistication. The concept features artfully designed wheels which could potentially carryover to the production version. The front of the bZ4X makes a lasting impression with its angular lighting and grille design and a finely integrated spoiler below the bumper area.

Within the airy cabin there a minimalist design aesthetic and a focus on comfort. Controls feature thoughtful detailing and there's a prominent center screen display. There's seating for five passengers and ample storage room. The instrument cluster was specifically designed to offer improved outward visibility.
