August 25 2019 - christenet@miller-nicholson.com
For decades shoppers have turned to the Toyota 4Runner when searching for a rugged and capable midsize SUV. The 2020 model year brings a slew of updates for the 4Runner that further solidifies its appeal. Today we'll explore some of the new features and equipment. Starting inside the cabin, there's a new 8.0-in. infotainment screen that has compatibility with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa. This level of connectivity makes it easier to manage tasks and stay focused on the road. The 4Runner can be had in five-passenger and seven-passenger configurations and has a large greenhouse for excellent visibility. An automatic transmission comes standard and luxury features such as leather seating surfaces, heated and ventilated front seats, and dual zone automatic climate control are available. Also available is an auto-dimming rearview mirror and Toyota's Smart Key System, which includes push button start and remote illuminated entry.

An 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen is a big step up from the previous 6.1-inch unit, and it now enables Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa. The redesigned instrument cluster now has a 4.2-inch screen between the dials. Rear passengers can keep devices charged with two USB ports. The Toyota Safety Sense-P suite brings a pre-collision system, lane departure warning, automatic high-beams, and adaptive cruise control.
