The all-new 2019 RAV4 sets the standard for style and convenience among compact crossovers. The first thing you'll notice is the aggressive and bold exterior design accented by LED headlights with smoked trim, LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL) and a black hexagon-patterned front grille. It all makes quite the first impression. Today we'll compare the 2019 Toyota RAV4 LE AWD to the 2019 Nissan Rogue S AWD to see how they stack up. The RAV4 LE AWD has several advantages over the Rogue S AWD, including higher retained value. According to ALG, after 36 months of ownership the RAV4 retains 58% of its value, compared to just 46% of value retained by the Rogue. Looking at retained value after 60 months the RAV4 retains 44% of its value, significantly higher than 29% of value retained by the Rogue. Moving on to performance, the RAV4 LE AWD's 2.5L 4-cylinder engine produces a robust 206 horsepower, compared to 170 horsepower in the Rogue. This added power contributes to the RAV4's max towing capacity advantage. Its ability to tow 1,500 lbs provides more opportunities for utility than the Rogues' 1,102 lbs max towing capacity. To top it all off, the RAV4 even gets better combined (city/highway) fuel-economy than the Rogue.
